I made a wire structure and used it as a base. I weaved some twine around it to see how light hits the material:

 

 

 

 

I did the 3d workshop on Tuesday and I got a chance to try out a glue gun. It is nice for light work because it is so transparent. I want to do more of this, more planned and 3d rather then flat sheet.
