I just liked this because music and dancing was a huge part of the islanders lives. Songs and tunes were past down through generations and the stories that went with them and they are still alive today. They were influenced by some records they heard and even the different sounds of the islands. They made some of their own instruments with materials which they had on the island, like driftwood. It was such a he part of their culture and community.
