I looked at the artist David Oliveira:

 

I liked the way he uses basic line and leaves negative space.

 

 

I also looked at Thomas Houseago:

 

 

He does alot of figurative sculptures, some very large. I liked the above piece because a mask is just another layer that can be removed to reveal something completely different. I liked the way that although it represents a face, is not at all life like but very deformed and cartoon like.
