I have two pieces of turf shaped now. It took many many mistakes and broken pieces and i wasted a good few pieces while learning how to use the chizzle and the correct side and sizes for different parts. I havent sanded these yet or joined anything. The hardest part is to have patience, and to do it bit by bit otherwise it ends up splitting.

I have been working away on this. I sanded them down , added oil to darken it and am starting to join the pieces together.
